Tenet 1. Life and death.

As far as I can tell the bible as a whole screams one basic fact.

FIRST TENET:

Humans can be spiritually dead at the same time they are biologically alive.
And they can be spiritually alive (and conscious) while biologically dead.

This is a basic core Christian belief.

And YEC people will not admit to this basic Christian core belief. I have yet to find one who will admit to it. Believing in YEC is based upon ignoring the first tenet.


FIRST CONTRARY TENET:

YEC has a contrary core tenet: Biological death did not exist before Adam’s sin. YEC equivocates biological life with spiritual life. I say that is not biblical. But the entire YEC worldview is based on preserving this one notion.

If you study Christians for the last 2026 years you will discover most of them believed the first tenet and not the first contrary tenet.
