Did you realize particles do not move smoothly along a straight line? They don’t. Linear motion is quantized. Particles move in “jumps” that are about 10^-35 meters from point to point. There isn’t any “location” between the points. THAT gives me awe and wonder. Now, why is this? Good question. It is hard to even imagine a particle going jump-jump-jump-jump from point to point, and the particle never existed in between the points, but it looks to us like smooth linear motion. 10^35 jumps for a meter of travel.
The universe is a lot stranger than you think it is
